Many customers have the bought the Samsung ML series printer with the impression that it has no chips. The printer comes with internal counter that won't let you print more than 2,100 pages with original cartridge and you have to buy P 3,350 (Price as of July , 2009) for new cartridge each time.

we must reset the internal counter, open back cover of printer and locate the 93c66 CHIP
just short the pins of 1 and 4 TRY it out first by connecting ALLIGATOR CLIPS instead of Soldering
This will reset the counter everytime you turn on the printer, if you remove the short then the counter will resume counting but the service date information will be different from your initial default
This method was tested using the Original Cartridge
If you want to use Compatible or Replacement Cartridge, you have to disconnect CN5 and short out CN9, this way the toner cartridge will always be treated as the initial cartridge.
Samsung is a good printer "Quality over Price Ratio"
